The AFCD declared that these two cats have covid.

These cats are from Sheung Shui, and they tested positive when they're owner tested positive too. These cats don't have any symptoms, and they feel just fine. These cats don't really need to quarantine because they can't pass it on. Cats can't pass covid on to humans.

How do you even test a cat for covid anyways?

It's sort of the same as humans, they need to get in to the nose, or any place the covid cells are hiding. If they find it- they have covid! You can't do a rapid test on you pet, obviously, if you really want to get your cat tested, you might need to see a vet or doctor, someone who knows how.

Let's hope these cats get well soon, even though they probably don't feel anything, and don't know that they have it!
